The challenge

Commodity Open 2026 is a research challenge on four commodity futures traded on India's MCX: gold, silver, copper and crude oil. Selected teams get years of market data, the economic calendar and a news feed, and build models that call the market's next moves. The organizers re-run every submission on their own machines, then test it on market sessions no team has seen.
